How we help founders turn vision into reality.

01 / NMR

Supporting NMR's expansion into the care sector.

"The care sector doesn't have a shortage of recruiters. It has a shortage of efficient ways to connect employers with the right people. Rosary Capital helped us secure the funding and connections needed to turn that vision into a reality."

Karan Elvin, Founder, NMR

The Challenge

The UK care sector continues to face significant staffing shortages, placing pressure on care home operators to find qualified and reliable workers while managing rising recruitment costs.

NMR (No More Recruiters) was established to tackle this challenge by creating a technology-led platform designed to reduce recruitment costs for care providers and connect employers directly with talent. However, bringing the concept to market required both investment and access to specialist international expertise.

The Solution

NMR partnered with Rosary Capital to support the next stage of its growth.

Recognising the potential impact the platform could have on the care sector, Rosary Capital worked closely with the NMR team to secure £500,000 in funding for the project. Alongside funding support, Rosary Capital leveraged its international network to introduce NMR to industry experts, advisors and business contacts across Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

These introductions helped strengthen the commercial model, validate the proposition and provide access to valuable market knowledge from both recruitment and healthcare sectors.

The Outcome

With the support of Rosary Capital, NMR was able to accelerate development of its platform and strengthen its position within the care recruitment market.

  • Securing £500,000 in project funding
  • Accessing specialist expertise from Hong Kong and UK markets
  • Building strategic relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Advancing the development of a technology-led recruitment solution
  • Creating a model designed to reduce recruitment costs for care home operators

By combining investment with practical introductions and strategic guidance, Rosary Capital helped transform an early-stage concept into a scalable business proposition capable of addressing one of the UK's most pressing workforce challenges.

Looking Ahead

As demand for care services continues to increase, innovative approaches to recruitment will become increasingly important. NMR's mission is to help care providers reduce hiring costs, improve access to talent and create a more efficient recruitment process for the sector.

Rosary Capital's support demonstrates how targeted investment and the right network can help ambitious businesses move from concept to commercial reality.

02 / Kung Fu Mama

Helping Kung Fu Mama secure £250,000 of SEIS investment.

"Building a restaurant business requires resilience, patience and the right people around you. Rosary Capital helped introduce investors who understood what we were trying to achieve and wanted to support that journey."

Chris Hsu, Co-Founder, Kung Fu Mama

The Challenge

Kung Fu Mama set out to bring authentic Taiwanese flavours to the UK market through a modern restaurant concept centred around traditional sun-dried noodles and Taiwanese street food.

Founded by Chris Hsu and Noam Bar, co-founder of the Ottolenghi Group, the business had already demonstrated strong market potential and developed a distinctive proposition within London's competitive dining scene. As the company prepared for its next stage of growth, additional capital was required to support expansion, strengthen operations and build brand awareness.

The founders were seeking investors who shared their long-term vision and understood the opportunity to grow a premium Taiwanese food brand in the UK.

The Solution

Rosary Capital was engaged to help identify and introduce suitable investors under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS).

Leveraging its network of entrepreneurs, angel investors and private investors, Rosary Capital connected Kung Fu Mama with individuals looking to support promising early-stage businesses while benefiting from the advantages offered through SEIS.

The focus was not simply on raising capital, but on introducing investors who aligned with the company's ambitions and could contribute to its long-term success.

The Outcome

Through Rosary Capital's investor network, Kung Fu Mama successfully secured £250,000 of SEIS investment.

The funding enabled the business to continue executing its growth strategy, invest in operational improvements and strengthen its position within the UK hospitality sector.

  • £250,000 successfully raised through SEIS investors
  • Access to experienced private investors and entrepreneurs
  • Increased resources to support business growth
  • Strengthened foundations for future expansion
  • Development of long-term investor relationships

Impact

The successful fundraising round validated both the strength of the business model and investor confidence in the brand's future.

Today, Kung Fu Mama continues to build its reputation as a distinctive Taiwanese restaurant concept, introducing more customers to authentic Taiwanese cuisine while creating a platform for future growth.

Looking Ahead

Early-stage businesses often require more than capital alone. By connecting Kung Fu Mama with the right investors, Rosary Capital helped provide both financial backing and strategic support for the next chapter of the company's journey.

The transaction demonstrates the value of matching ambitious founders with investors who share their vision and commitment to long-term growth.
