About Rosary Capital

Building the connections that help early-stage companies become long-term businesses.

Rosary Capital Limited has been established to develop a new early-stage investment proposition centred on the City of London.

The proposition is currently in development and the necessary legal, regulatory and operational work is being progressed before any investment activity begins.

Our longer-term ambition is straightforward. We want to help promising businesses gain access not only to early capital, but to the customers, advisers, expertise and relationships that can help a young company become an enduring one.

Why the City: The Square Mile contains one of the world's greatest concentrations of banks, insurers, asset managers, professional advisers and international businesses. For a company selling into financial or professional services, an extraordinary proportion of its potential customers, advisers and partners can be found within a relatively small area. Yet proximity does not automatically create access.
The gap we want to address: Early-stage founders often find large institutions difficult to navigate. Finding the right person can take time. Procurement can be complicated. Institutional customers require evidence around security, resilience, governance and regulation that a young company may never previously have encountered. We believe there is an opportunity to make this journey easier.
What Rosary Capital is being developed to do: Our intention is to help promising early-stage companies build stronger connections with the customers, expertise and networks concentrated within the City of London. Once the appropriate legal and regulatory arrangements are in place, early-stage capital is intended to form part of that proposition.
Proposed future approach: Rosary Capital is developing a proposed inception-to-pre-seed investment strategy, with potential selective early-seed activity where there is a strong strategic fit. No investment structure is currently open and Rosary Capital is not currently making or offering investments.
Current status: No Rosary Capital investment structure is currently open and no investments are currently being offered. We are progressing the legal, regulatory and operational work required before any investment activity begins.

A rosary consists of individual links followed in sequence. We chose the name because enduring companies tend to be built in much the same way. One decision. One customer. One relationship. One milestone at a time.

Our ambition is to help entrepreneurs build some of those important links within the City of London.

Rosary Capital is built on the belief that commercial success and wider opportunity should reinforce one another.

The proposed Rosary Capital model is being developed around two ideas: helping promising companies build stronger commercial connections with the City, and widening access to the opportunities created by growing technology businesses.

This principle is being considered as part of the wider Rosary Capital proposition as it develops.

Early-stage companies compete for capable, adaptable and ambitious people. At the same time, talented young people from lower-income backgrounds are often excluded from the networks through which opportunities in finance and technology are found.

Rosary Capital aims to connect those two needs.

By giving early-stage companies within the wider network access to emerging talent, paid project support, apprenticeships and early-career recruitment, we can help founders build stronger teams while giving young people meaningful experience in high-growth businesses.
